On the occasion of its 30th anniversary, La Geode organizes, from April 7 to July 5, 2015, a festival dedicated to international unpublished large format productions and films that have marked the history of this unique place, setting IMAX movies and 3D Relief.

The Geode Festival is a unique event in the world. Inaugurated in 1985, it is the only international festival of large format cinema to be open to the public and to vote its viewers. It welcomes over 30,000 visitors each edition, almost 20 million viewers in 30 years

For 3 months, the public is invited to discover or rediscover the films that made the success of the Geode for 30 years: ROLLING STONES AT THE MAX, ARCTIC Sea Rex 3D, LEGEND OF THE BLACK STALLION or U2 3D and delve into new creations in 3D that are PANDAS 3D DINOSAURS aLIVE ..., tHE MYSTERIES OF INVISIBLE, BESTIOLES or IMAX format like MADAGASCAR, ISLAND OF lEMURS or ODYSSEY BUTTERFLIES. Not to mention Everest, the world's largest of its kind success.

30 films for as many trips, discovery and thrills for all the family: back to the Ice Age, snorkeling with white sharks, immersion in the invisible worlds, excursion to Madagascar with lemurs, with terrible chills dinosaurs or emotion with adorable pandas ...

Three themed weekends - "Special Dinosaurs" (18/19 April) "special Bugs" (30/31 May), "Special Oceans" (6/7 June) - are also planned.

The audience was behind the success of the Geode for 30 years, so it is pretty normal to pay them tribute  ... During the festival, the public is invited to vote for their favorite film. Film winner of the "Audience Award" will be on view to the Geode in the month of October.
