Baroque during the Enlightenment
From March 21 through July 16, 2017, the Petit Palais presents a new temporary exhibition dedicated to the wonderful works of art of the 18th-century churches of Paris.
From 21/03/2017 to 16/07/2017
Entitled “Baroque
during the Enlightenment”, the exhibition gives prominence to the sketches and religious
paintings which were created between the Régence period and the Revolution, in
particular, including works by popular figures like Largillière, Restout,
Lemoine, David, Van Loo, and Vien.
For those who are interested in finding more about the 18th Century Masterpieces in Paris Churches, “Baroque during the Enlightenment” is a must-see!
