Survivialism is a trend that isn’t quite as popular in France as in other countries. There isn’t the same amount of niche knowledge or the same conventions for those keen to prep for the worst-case scenarios. While Americans stockpile food, create compounds and learn survivalist skills, the French aren’t quite so involved. But, this may start to change after the Survival Expo 2020 at the Paris Event Centre from March 20th to 22nd. This is actually the second event and there are hope it will draw more people.

Visitors can come and see demonstrations and talks from experts in the centre with six different themed areas. They are Survival, outdoors, energy, food autonomy, water manager and health and safety. You don’t know what skills you might pick up for an emergency at this interesting new event, especial with their ideas on renewable energy, food production and first aid. Give a try, you may be surprised!

Following the French Government's decision to prohibit all gatherings of more than 1,000 people in a confined space. The Survivale Expo will therefore be postponed to another date.
